The second egg was laid in the 8:00 PM hour, about 110 hours after the first egg. That is over double the usual time. Laying started here on 4/09 last year, so a first egg on April 1 would have been a pretty big change. We'll be counting eggs. The huge time between eggs one and two, a big change in timing, and five eggs would point to a female change over between the first and second egg.
