D29 takes a stab at nestorations as it attempts to grab hold of a stick. How do we know this is D29? Look at the receding natal down 'hairline' and black body feathers emerging in rows on its head. Like D29's stick play, the emergence of body feathers signify a real milestone! Over the next two weeks, we'll see body growth slow as feather growth takes precedence and the eaglets move closer to life outside the nest.
