Mom laid her third egg last night at 6:36 PM, although we weren't able to get much of a glimpse behind the large heap of soft materials that Mom and Dad formed into an egg-protecting berm. Mom commonly lays three eggs and stuck with her usual schedule of egg two roughly three days after egg one, and egg three four days after egg two. The photo above shows Dad in the nest the morning after the egg was laid.
This is the 31st egg she has laid on this territory since 2008!
