D32 (left) and D33 (right) are increasingly interested in life outside the nest as they become better at long-range vision and imprint on their parents' behavior. From the eaglets' perspective: Mom and Dad arrive with food from...somewhere out there! Mom and Dad pay attention to things...somewhere out there! Mom and Dad wing-flap at things...somewhere out there! At 16 and 13 days of age, both eaglets are interested in and learning from almost everything their parents do in and around the nest.
