D29 briefly stood up on its own two feet today. Although it isn't yet ready to walk around the nest, this is a very important milestone in eaglet development. Feet open up a whole new world of moving around the nest, eventually tearing food, shooting poop even higher into the air, and wingercizing in preparation for eventual flight!
