DN9 briefly stood on its feet today. Although it isn\'t yet ready to walk around the nest, this is a very important milestone in eaglet development. Feet open up a whole new world of moving around the nest, eventually tearing food, shooting poop even higher into the air, and wingercizing in preparation for eventual flight!
DN9 is 23 days old today. Although it lacks a sibling, it spends a lot of time interacting with both parents. Watchers - little DN9 has thousands of human aunts and uncles - were thrilled to see it standing today!
