The eaglets are hitting the steepest part of their weight gain curve, so they are spending a lot of eating, pooping, and sleeping right now. Sometimes milestones are reached in obvious ways - first flight feathers, first pellet, first stand, first self-feeding - and sometimes they happen quietly, as the eaglets laze in bright sunshine and grow larger in front of our eyes.
