We've seen some wingercizing before, but D29 really went to town today, wingercizing with vigor as it unfurled its wings and flapped them. Wingercizing helps eaglets build flight muscles, learn balance and coordination, and experiment with their wings.
Take a look at D29's body. D29's pinfeathers are growing out, its wings have grown much longer and wider, it's not dragging its bottom as much, we can see the base of its tail, and its body is growing longer as it matures. An eaglet? Nope - D29 is a tweeneaglet on its way to young adulthood!
